If you haven’t been out to see Caffeine before, or if it was a really good night out and you can’t remember exactly what you did see, we’ve just posted a couple of new demos on our MySpace page to give you a taste of what you’re gonna hear when you come party with us.
If you want to know what else you might hear you can see the band’s full play list here.
Speaking of what you might hear, the band has been putting in some time getting a few new song together for this weekend. Want to know what we’ve been brewing? Well you’ll just have to make your way out to The Iron City Bar on Friday night (you can be their friend on MySpace here)
Qualified. Experienced. Who needs those qualities in a candidate?
How about a president with a resume that includes singer, guitarist, song writer, and damn funny guy? I think he may have even used to have played drums in some other band. Check out the details over at HARP Magazine (no I haven’t heard of it either, so it must be super hip).
ELECT DAVE, because if there’s someone that’s going to release the truth about the UFO Conspiracy it’s this guy.
OK, in case you’re one of the 5 people on the web that hasn’t seen these yet, here is a little back and forth between Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman about their intimate knowledge of some people you may have heard of.
First up, Sarah…
Then Jimmy’s video chock full of awesome response…
Hey, if you don’t know already, Caffeine’s very own drumming maniac Scott Hershner’s birthday is this Thursday and we are going to party all weekend at Mutt’s Brewery Lounge to celebrate. Friday night is the warm up and Saturday is the full blown B-Day bash.

Be sure to stop by the Caffeine MySpace page and drop him a birthday comment! And while you’re there check out our new pics from last Saturday’s show at Brenda’s Double Deuce. Or you can see a slide show of them over on our Photo page
Some of you probably saw all of the references to that classic of American cinema “Roadhouse” last week in honor of Caffeine’s first show at the Double Deuce in Middletown. Well sometime fate (or is it destiny?) works in strange ways, because a few other mentions of Swayze’s masterpiece popped up around the same time including Roadhouse: The Novel, and an alternate commentary track track if you already own the DVD (and who doesn’t!) and the Kevin Smith commentary on the disk left you wanting more insight from people that had nothing to do with the movie.
Drink all that late 80’s goodness in now, ’cause as Wade Garrett said, you can sleep when you’re dead.
If you’re a frequent visitor to the Caffeine site, you may notice that there is a new “Photo” page listed on the menu, unfortunately for the time being it’s a work in progress.
In the meantime you can always check out pictures on the Caffeine MySpace page,
or over on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/iwantcaffeine/
Hey, Hey. Got nothing to do between Valentine’s Day and President’s Day? Well have we got a plan for you. Get yourself down to Brenda’s Double Deuce Saturday night (2/16) for a wild time.
Did everyone have a great time last weekend at Mutt’s Brewery Lounge?
Well then come out to rock with Caffeine again this Saturday the 26th for their first time at Bottom’s Up in Middletown (Located on N. Verity St.). Not only is it a new club, but the band will be rolling out some new tunes for the show too, so there will be cherries popping all over the place!
And speaking of new new songs, what new songs do you want to hear the band do in the future? The latest radio hits? Classics? 80s? Leave us a comment to let us know!
…something you can see on Sunday afternoon, so don’t waste all of that prime party time Friday and Saturday night with a $12 bucket of popcorn! Come on over to see Caffeine at everyone’s favorite local bar, Mutt’s Brewery Lounge instead!

But if you get around to seeing it this weekend, comeback and tell us what you thought. Better than the Stay-Puff Man? Better than Godzilla? You know it’s gotta be better than Godzilla 98, right?
